  • The guided tour (in French) lasts 90 min.
  • A written summary of the tour is available in English, German, Dutch, Spanish and Italian.
  • We do NOT take individual bookings.
  • Please be at the gates 15 min. prior to each tour. There shall be no more access once the visit has started.
  • ACCESSIBLE ONLY BY FOOT. Cars may be parked along the main road.

Group Visits

Group visits are available in English and French all year round by prior arrangement.

  • Our castles will undoubtedly be the focus of your presence in our lovely region. YET, a visit to La MAGNANERIE will help you create a programme that is both unusual and rewarding. Your customers will feel that they’ve been taken “OFF THE BEATEN TRACK”.
  • Cave dwellings have always FASCINATED visitors but rare are the possibilities to get a close-up look and meet with their inhabitants face to face !
  • The fact that a section of this historical quarry is still home to a silkworm farm provides an ADDED VALUE of fun and education for children and adults alike.
  • The visits are lead by the “TROGGS” themselves. They have been guiding and escorting groups all over the world for years now. Some of our guests “almost feel like they are part of the family”.
  • Lasting about 90 minutes, the visit can easily fit in any itinerary.
  • You won’t have to worry about the weather. Our caves will keep you dry should it rain and cool on hot summer days. It is a truly “ALL-WEATHER” attraction.

  • then : 9 € per adult over 20 participants
  • 1 free entry for the group leader
  • 1 free entry for driver if he/she chooses to visit

Secondary schools groups

  • up to 20 participants : set fee of 140 €
  • then : 7 € per extra student
  • 1 free teacher per 10 students
  • 1 free entry for driver if he/she chooses to visit

Primary schools groups

  • up to 20 participants : set fee of 100 €
  • then : 5 € per extra pupil
  • 1 free teacher per 8 pupils
  • 1 free entry for driver if he/she chooses to visit

Mixed groups

  • up to 20 participants : set fee of 180 €
  • then : 9 € par adult ; 7 € per teenager (13-17 year) et 5 € per child (6-12)
  • 1 free entry for the group leader
  • 1 free entry for driver if he/she chooses to visit
